This montage is made from the deconstructed elements of water bubbling over metal in a sink and is the most distant composition from the original imagery. The picture took many directions and ultimately had several fewer layers which gives the light, fragmented feeling of 'steps' leading up to the heavy central/background image. The composition grew from entirely the same elements as the others in the 'Aqua Metallica' series but has a very different feel to it. I was reminded, eventually, of sepia pictures of difficult to climb mountains that men wanted to die on if they couldn't reach the top. Perhaps the steps have been created by the mischievous mountain spirits leading you on a treacherous journey?
