“A long life well lived” is about an elderly man, worn down by a long life filled with experience and wisdom. Nearing the end of the road as he is, he is satisfied with what he has accomplished. There is a real sense of completion captured in his eyes and small smirk. Characteristic of many of the old men I have seen, his ears are large and droopy, his nose has never stopped growing, and even his wrinkles have wrinkles. For anybody who has contemplated their own mortality, this is a person I believe many of us strive to be near the end of our journey. 5.75” X 8.5”
