Created in 2012 by a group of artists in Wells, the Wells Art Contemporary awards are an open competition for contemporary art with a strong presence in the national and international art world.

Open to artists working in all media (painting, drawing, print, sculpture, video and performance), the 2020 exhibition will be selected by artists Phil Allen, Neville Gabie and Lisa Wright.

The shortlisted artworks will be displayed in a print catalogue as well as a digital exhibition.
