K Space Contemporary seeks entries for the Third Coast Biennial, a non-thematic, juried exhibition of innovative contemporary art. Open to artists age 18+ living in the USA. Entries must be original works of art completed in the last 2 years and not previously exhibited at K Space. All media accepted. Two dimensional works must not exceed 60". Three dimensional works must be manageable by two people. $2500 in Cash Awards. Entry Fee: $40 for 1 - 3 works of art (discount for K Space Members); $5 per each additional work of art, up to 10 max. Exhibition Dates: July 15 – Aug. 26, 2022 (in person and online).
Juror Mark L. Smith over 25 years of art world experience as a curator, gallery owner, artist, author, founder of two university printmaking programs, andco-founder of Flatbed Press in Austin. His "Hope Series" of mixed media works was recently accepted into the Obama Presidential Library in Chicago.
