Nationwide Call for Entries 2022 See Support Collect Exhibition Deadline August 28, 2022
25.00
A vibrant nexus for contemporary art, See Support Collect is an intersectional placemaking, gap-filling, community-fostering initiative that includes regular platforming online -in addition to- an annual exhibition series (art for sale, receptions, artist-led programs, and dialogue). This initiative is fueled by Latela Curatorial. In 2022, the Third Annual SSC Initiative will take place both on Latela Curatorial's Artsy platform and IRL in multiple locations.
This call for art is for the online exhibition on Artsy, and is open to women and non-binary artists residing throughout the United States. The process for being curated into an IRL exhibition location is invite-only.

::: Theme :::
Two words: Body Autonomy! We invite you to share artwork that addresses recent attacks on non-male bodies, trans rights, reproductive rights, pleasure and public health for all child-bearing bodies. We welcome uncensored submissions of artwork that respond directly to the overturning of Roe versus Wade (literally or conceptually), or any of the general themes of displacement, labor (in it multi-senses), care, pleasure, public health, and issues relating to women’s, trans, and non-binary bodies.
::: Submission Requirements :::
- All forms of painting, drawing, photography, collage, mixed media, printmaking (analog and digital), sculpture, sound art, video and new media are eligible.
- Artwork submitted must have been completed in the last three years. Graduate and undergraduate works are acceptable.
- Artists can submit up to five (5) works of art. For this initiative we prefer a cohesive series of work. If you work across multiple media, we do not advise submitting three artworks of three different styles: select multiple artworks in the same style/series as we'd most likely display them together.
- All images must be in jpeg format, sized to 5 X 7 (or approx.) inches at 300 dpi.
- All submissions must be through our submission portal during the open call dates. Late and incomplete submissions will not be considered.
- All submissions must be accompanied by a nonrefundable $25 submission fee. Applications without a submission fee will not be considered. If you require financial grace, please email us: [email protected]
