This open call invites professional visual artists worldwide to respond to a curatorial theme exploring estrangement, planetary belonging, and perspectives beyond the human, developed by a curatorial fellow. One artist will receive a commission to create new work responding to the theme, with additional consideration for an online conversation series and a curated program of screenings and talks. The program is open to artists working across all media including moving image, installation, sculpture, photography, performance, sound, and digital media.
