Supported by the Wagner Foundation, this grant program provides unrestricted funding to independent presses with a history of publishing artists' books. Now in its third year, the program recognizes past accomplishments in artists' book publishing while supporting future projects and organizational sustainability. Selected publishers also receive a featured exhibitor presence at a major art book fair, offering visibility and connection to a broader audience of collectors, artists, and institutions. Applications are reviewed by Printed Matter staff alongside an outside jury.
