Willow Street Gallery and DC Arts Studios in Washington, DC, are excited to share this open call for entries for artists in the DMV area. This juried exhibition will explore what it means to be in community and how people build a better world, together.

The theme, "We Are the Ones", is inspired by the final line of June Jordan’s Poem for South African Women: "We are the ones we have been waiting for."

Artists are encouraged to embrace this theme as an interpretative starting point and not a restrictive or literal mandate.

Open to artists 18+ living and working in the greater Washington, DC, region (DC, Maryland and Virginia).
