District Arts in Frederick, MD announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, May 3-28, 2023. $500 Best in Show, $250 Award of Merit, $100 Honorable Mention. Nostalgia can mean a tenderhearted longing for the past, usually accompanied by happy remembrances of times gone by. It can also mean a longing accompanied by a sense of loss or missed opportunity. We are interested in showcasing 2D and 3D work that challenges the viewers and perhaps makes them think about longing in their own lives. Open to all artists residing in the US.
