The City of Santa Clarita Arts and Events division (City) is seeking artists to exhibit work at the First Floor Gallery located in City Hall. The group show, Landscapes of the Mind, will focus on artwork
depicting any kind of landscape from the artist’s interpretation. The landscape does not need to be, but is encouraged to be a real place. These pieces can be incredibly realistic, or very abstract or surreal, or somewhere in between. There is no limit to how many pieces you can submit, however, they will be juried. Applicants may submit artwork in the medium of their choosing as long as it is able to be mounted to a wall. This includes but is not limited to paintings, drawings, printmaking, photography, and textiles. The show will be up from December 2020 to February 2021. There will also be a virtual gallery available for viewing.
