Color in its simplest form attributes to the physicality of one’s identity and traits. This often defines who we are on the surface and gives us narratives to share with the world. Through these stories, artists are encouraged to share their perspectives on what “hue” means and what it evokes in this exploration of self. This 2022 group exhibition will seek to show works that exemplify the word “hue.” We invite artists to explore self, community and culture through all mediums as we celebrate identity. We will be looking for works that embody a connection to the themes of identity and color.
