The Hudson Gardens Artist in Residence program is a developing initiative designed to support creative exploration while fostering meaningful public connection. The residency is open to artists working in all mediums. Artists are expected to balance their time during the residency, with approximately 60% dedicated to independent studio practice and 40% open studio time with some public engagement event proposed by the artist. The residency takes place in Littleton, Colorado at the Hudson Gardens Pavilion, a large, light-filled, climate-controlled space with tables, chairs, and access to water. The Pavilion is well suited for many visual art practices and classroom-style public engagement.
