The Oxford Arts Alliance is having a national juried exhibition in September called "Climate Change: What Will You Do To Help?". We're asking artists to respond to one or more of these questions with your art:
What can you do?
What will you do?
What are you doing?
What if we don’t?
Our juror for this themed exhibition is Emily Rosmus of the Ned Smith Center. Emily joined the Ned Smith Center in January 2019 and serves as the Education Coordinator, scheduling and leading educational programs aiming to bring art and nature together in a way that benefits both. She obtained a B.S. degree in Biology and a minor in Fine Arts from Saint Francis in Loretto, PA in 2014 and discovered her passion for environmental education shortly thereafter. She has always enjoyed the arts, dabbling in sketching, photography, and watercolor, and finds the Ned Smith Center a perfect environment to bring her two passions together and encourage others to do the same. She and her husband, Travis, recently bought their first home in Dauphin, PA, and live with their dog, Clara. When not working, she enjoys hiking, reading, running, and making sure Clara is living her best life.
