2023 Winter Park Paint Out

- Award Info: Compensation upon sales. The Winter Park Paint Out is one of the oldest plein air festivals in the state of Florida. During its 14 year history, 90 different artists have created over 3500 original paintings capturing the beauty and charm of our unique Central Florida community. Of those paintings, approximately 1250 have been purchased by our patrons, sponsors and supporters for a cumulative sales total of approximately $1,000,000.

Thank you for your interest in the 2023 Winter Park Paint Out. Each year, the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens (“the Polasek” or “Museum”) hosts 24 artists during the last full week of April for our signature fundraising event.
The Winter Park Paint Out is one of the oldest plein air festivals in the state of Florida. During its 14 year history, 90 different artists have created over 3500 original paintings capturing the beauty and charm of our unique Central Florida community. Of those paintings, approximately 1250 have been purchased by our patrons, sponsors and supporters for a cumulative sales total of approximately $1,000,000.
The Winter Park Paint Out is a JURIED entry event. We encourage all plein air artists to apply and welcome both local, out-of-state, and international participants. Select artists from the 2022 Paint Out will be asked to return based on their number of sales. The remaining spaces are open to any other artists wishing to return in 2023 or to participate for the first time. To be considered for one of these open positions, please complete our online application. There is no application fee.
Deadline for entry is Friday, November 4, 2022, 12:00 Midnight ET.
ALL artists must submit a completed application, along with three recent plein air images (within the last 2 years and no studio work please). In addition, each artist agrees to abide by the event’s Terms and Conditions of Participation.
