How Can Artwork Archive Support Your Artist Organization?

Artwork Archive | January 31, 2016

From the very beginning, Artwork Archive has proudly supported nonprofit and educational artist organizations. It’s really important to us to support our local artist community in Colorado, as well as artist associations across the nation. Artist organizations are an integral part of the art world and provide valuable knowledge, connections, and support to their members. We have been honored to donate prizes and provide discounts to a number of artist organizations and wanted to share a few of them with you.

Colorado Springs Art Guild

Joel Sundquist received an Artwork Archive account for his work “Magnificent Calling” in CSAG’s Autumn Glances 2015 Regional Show. We were especially thrilled to support an art association close to Denver since that is where Artwork Archive was born. Founder and CEO, John Feustel created Artwork Archive for his mother, Cynthia Feustel–a Colorado oil painter! We are also included in their new member packet and worked with CSAG President Teri Brown to provide all members with a discount.

Oil Painters of America

Artwork Archive was honored to present OPA’s 24th National Juried Exhibition Honorable Mention award to Neal Hughes. Neal Hughes received the award and an Artwork Archive account for his beautiful painting “Up for Repairs”. We have also provided a special discount to every member of the Oil Painters of America.

American Impressionist Society

Artwork Archive was happy to be able to donate an account to the 6th Annual AIS National Juried Exhibition. Dawn Whitelaw received the Artwork Archive Award of Merit for her work “Morning Latte”. We also worked with Artwork Archive artist and AIS CEO and President, Debra Joy Groesser, to provide all AIS members with a discount to Artwork Archive.

Plein Air Artists Colorado

Artwork Archive is a sponsor and partner of Plein Air Artists Colorado. We were delighted to attend their 19th Annual Exhibition opening reception as a team and meet many of their incredible artists. Artwork Archive provided a prize for the event, as well as supplied all PAAC members with a discount. Marc R. Hanson received second place and was awarded an Artwork Archive account for his lovely work “Spring in the Basin”.

The Zhou B Art Center

The Zhou B Art Center recently held its 2016 National Wet Paint MFA Biennial, curated by Artwork Archive artist and gallerist, Sergio Gomez. The exhibition was comprised of emerging contemporary artists and the name “Wet Paint” reflects their newness in the art world. Artwork Archive was honored to present an Award of Excellence to Erica Elan Ciganek in tandem with Art NXT Level, as well as an Award of Excellence to Elias Lytton. Co-founder Justin Anthony attended the event to congratulate the talented winners and provide discounts to artists.
