Stony Brook Farm is a place I ran across while scouting in Chester Vermont. Nothing says Vermont like a dirt road, a wooden gate, and a red barn. Of course I knew immediately I had found another painting.

I painted this just as I photographed it with one small addition. I added some wild pink rose blooms to the vegetation along the fence. How idyllic a view. Fences and gates, along with paths and dirt roads, are always a drowning for me.
