There are a couple ski hills in Waitsfield Vermont and this spring I was intrigued by the coming spring greens in the lower valleys while snow clung to the hills and ski areas. As a result I painted two paintings, this one of Mount Ellen Mountain and one of Sugarbush right next to it.
