Peaceful Morning

This tonal piece is painted from imagination. It combines multiple places I have seen and photographed, and is painted with a very limited palette. The light that infuses the entire scene is what makes this painting work. The subject could have been without a bridge, with more or less trees, and a different foreground, but the light is what ties everything together to present a peaceful retreat.
