What a cold, breezy morning painting this one, Thursday morning!

The sunlight spilling across those mountains behind this grove of what looked like strawberry-vanilla #hydrangeatrees was the inspiration for this rendering. It was a gorgeous contrast and I tried to show them off.

If time hadn’t been a factor, I think I would have changed the composition to more sky and less green lawn even though it was beautiful! By the time it warmed up and I could feel my fingers again, it was time to leave. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property Hilda!

This painting will be available for purchase on Saturday during the wet paint sale @brmuseum until September 30th and after that at the Seby B.
