My art practice challenges social and linguistic constructs in the United States through precisely crafted artworks organized into collections.
MessageRage, Rage against the Dying of the Light confronts the inevitable reality of dying and the quiet erosion of vitality. A gold frame suggests reverence, yet the illuminated rupture within reveals a visceral resistance. Torn, layered paper becomes both barrier and outcry. Light seeps through the damaged core—a fragile, flickering refusal to fade. Referencing Dylan Thomas’s poem, the work stages a minimalist protest against silence, loss, and the inevitability of death.
