My interdisciplinary practice investigates the social and linguistic constructs that shape identity, history, and collective memory in the United States.
MessageFor three years, I sat in a chair every day in meditation. What began as a personal practice slowly became an artwork. The chair bears witness to time measured not by productivity, but by presence. Resting on a platform, it marks the space where attention, repetition, and stillness transformed perception. Part of the What Is This? series, the work asks whether sustained contemplation can become a material of art and whether an ordinary object can hold the invisible archive of a lived practice.
