"Earthpod II" explores the element of earth. The design work for this piece is a micro view of the natural disintegration of a tree as it returns to the earth - still beautiful, still relevant to the ecosystem.

The brass gilding in this piece is an alloy that will age over many years. The effect is intentional to reflect the natural cycles of nature.
