Created with a sense of freedom and experimentation, this Tetra print combines scratch marks, cross-hatching, and the sketched forms of three bees etched into the plate using a steel carving chisel. Originally a rectangle, the Tetra plate was reshaped with curved edges and torn sides, giving it an unorthodox and dynamic appearance. For the inking process, I used the tip of a cork to work the ink into the grooves, wiping away selectively to create a range of gray tones. The final touch was adding vibrant yellow ink, bringing the piece to life.
