This artwork is a vibrant exploration of texture and layering through Gelli Plate printmaking. I began by designing a custom letter stencil, rolling acrylic paint onto the plate, and pressing Japanese paper onto the surface to transfer the paint. Through multiple layers of printing, I introduced a range of colors and textures, allowing organic forms and geometric shapes to emerge. Originally a 6x6 composition, I later cut the piece into 2x2 squares, rearranging them into a dynamic abstract grid. Mounted on clay tiles, this final arrangement highlights the interplay of color, pattern, and movement.
