A branch of a dramatically lit chokecherry plant caught my eye and I wanted others to be able to see the drama, too, so decided to paint it. It was reproduced in the university botany textbook, "Biology of Plants" by Peter Raven, Ray Evert and Susan Eichhorn. It also appeared in the American Society of Botanical Artists Exhibition at the Weisman Art Museum in Minneapolis, MN. The print is temporarily mounted on foamcore and would be sent between two "sheets" of foamcore for stability.
