The structure of the mimosa bloom reminded me so much of fireworks, and I wanted to capture that sense in this drawing, but also wanted to record the different stages of the bloom, the leaves and seedpod. The print is temporarily mounted on foamcore and sent with print between two sheets of foamcore for stability.
