The pasqueflower is one of the first blooms of spring, sometimes even popping from the snow of Wisconsin. The sight of it gives such hope for the coming seasons after a cold, hard Wisconsin winter. This work (along with many of my other works) was reproduced in a university botany textbook, "Biology of Plants" by Peter Raven, Ray Evert, and Susan Eichhorn.
