AB. Full face mask used in performances by Arizona dance and theater companies. Purple and black painted calaca. Thin wavy and curvy purple lines on forehead in a V-like shape. More purple lines around the eyes, sides of mask, cheeks, nose and chin. Outline of teeth painted purple. Thin black lines painted on top of purple lines on eyebrows and chin. Thin separated handlebar-like mustache painted black.
It is made of plaster bandage and paper clay, painted with acrylic paints and ribbon, which ties the mask to the performer.
These masks are part of the Performance Collection, which contains pieces available for loan to use in community and artistic performances.
