I created this piece by shooting a bullet into bullet resistant glass and then gilding it. The gilding is in the same proportion to the bullet as a halo commonly is to a face in Medieval art. The piece can be displayed on a stand, suspended, or wall mounted. In addition to existing as an individual piece, I have exhibited it as part of an installation: "Guns, Gold and Oil," referencing the human urge to dominate peoples and nature. I chose to use bullets as a drawing material, to make art rather than kill.
