Katherine Jackson is an artist living and working in Brooklyn. Her work has been shown in both galleries and public spaces in New York City (and upstate), Boston, London, Berlin, and Rome and elsewhere. She has installed large-scale solo public exhibitions celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the New York Public Library (a 28 pieces, 6 month long exhibition on 5th Ave and 40th St, NYC), and the 100th Anniversary of the Manhattan Bridge, as well as a large scale commissioned piece in midtown, Manhattan, and also had a 6 month long, 2 person exhibition in the windows of the Tenement Museum in NYC. Her work has been shown in numerous galleries, from Brooklyn to Berlin and beyond, including a solo show at Bennington College, and been the featured art in shows involving art & technology. Her most recent large scale exhibition was in Newark, where she was able to bring together much of the work she is developing for an even larger installation, "Guns, Gold, and Steel."
