Gratitude Series 1:
This painting began with a brisk walk through the park, wandered with me along familiar neighborhood streets, and finally settled into a late-night stroll downtown. The views shifted as the day unfolded, but the cool air and playful wind stayed by my side the whole time — like quiet companions.
In my mind, the whole experience felt like an invigorating blue meeting a warm golden yellow, the two dancing together from day into night. Painting it is my way of honoring that simple, spirited kind of beauty that resides in your heart, even as the world around you changes.
