"The Return" is an instillation piece revolving around the creating of the painting with the same name. I collaborated with Solana Del Bel Belluz, who helped with direction and production. For many years I have played around with film, video editing and this was my first go at a short film. The video is broken up into 3 distinct sections, featuring painting and dancing in the great outdoors. I had taken a year off from my art to grow, travel, learn, and reflect on my life moving forward. In many ways this video sums up that year of being off.
