Vase, 5.5 inches tall. Maker unknown. The style and mark indicate this pattern dates to c. 1880. The pattern is identical on both sides of the vase and consists of a stone cottage in the countryside at the end of a path. Framing the scene on the right are branches with leaves and berries. The overall pattern is suggestive of the autumn season. The border around the outside rim is framed on top and bottom with a gilded line and consists of stylized leaves slanted from top left to bottom right.
