There is a farm in Tunbridge Vermont that has the classic white farm house, big barns, fields and a number of outbuildings. What captured my imagination was a series of three sheds, each one a bit smaller than the one behind it. What lead to the construction of three different size sheds all lined up in a row? Whatever it is, it reminds me of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, with big, medium, and small items for Goldilocks to try.
I visited in early summer when the trees were just finishing dressing up with leaves for the summer, and the dandelions were out. This farm, and view, is neighbors with the view that lead to an earlier painting (shown on this site) called Dairy and Dandelions. To get two nice paintings from the same basic location is an artists dream!
