The early morning light really played well with the autumn foliage along the Winooski River between Montpelier and Bolton, while letting the shadows cool the scene and provide needed contrast.
Due to an overnight rainstorm, there were areas where I had to introduce or exaggerate the color where the wind had blown off many of the leaves. The title is the result of the feeling I had that I would love to paddle along the river and take in every turn and corner. Bring me a paddle and a canoe, give me my camera, and I could be supplied with material for a long time to come!
