Sweet Road View, Cambridge VT

I created this piece, and the one named "Summer Song" back to back. You can read about the different approaches to these two paintings in the description of Summer Song.

This piece is based on the view of Mount Mansfield from Sweet Road on the far side of Cambridge Vermont. It is a beautiful view looking across the landscape, with an iconic farm up on Bryce Hill in the distance. The format of this painting works nicely to get that expansive feeling of the countryside surrounding the distant view.
