My interdisciplinary practice investigates the social and linguistic constructs that shape identity, history, and collective memory in the United States.
MessageThe work stages a menu of justifications, flattening war into a series of interchangeable motives. “Imminent threat,” “regime change,” and “world peace” appear side by side, exposing how the rationales for the 2026 Iran war shift and multiply rather than resolve into coherence.
Set against decorative calm, the language reads as both bureaucratic and absurd, reducing violence to a selectable option. The work points not to a single explanation but to the instability of justification itself, revealing war as something continually rewritten after the fact.
