My interdisciplinary practice investigates the social and linguistic constructs that shape identity, history, and collective memory in the United States.
MessageBe Just so Clear draws attention to the impossibility of perfect clarity. A precise diagonal cut slices across the paper field, revealing a narrow band of underlying color and texture. The work balances restraint and rupture—its crisp geometry disrupted by a jagged fold and exposed seam. The title reads as both instruction and irony, reminding us that every effort toward precision contains the potential for distortion. Clarity here is conditional, constructed, and always partial.
