This painting further my exploration of depicting the emotions I felt moving into my home town as a US Army Veteran and the experience of finding that I no longer fit into the whole that I left behind. I have seen and experienced too much and the city has grown around the void.
In Untitled Void, I also wanted to play with mixing Quinacridone Crimson, Cadmium-Free Yellow Light, and Phthalocyanine Blue as my primary colors instead of Naphthol Crimson, Light Hansa Yellow, and Ultramarine Blue (Green Shade).
