The repeated shapes used here are based on drawings and a printing block that have appeared in previous work. The whole image represents growth but also may suggest something sharper, perhaps weaponry. It has always surprised me how quickly many people forget their own trajectory. As the past recedes it becomes convenient to simplify it. We often become covetous of our surroundings and begin discriminating against others.
