Picture Perfect came from wanting to draw a place that feels like a pause. The kind of scene you look at and immediately want to be inside of. Palm trees, water, open sky — nothing complicated, just a moment that feels calm and warm.
I made this piece using Copic markers on Bristol board, building the colours slowly to keep everything bright but controlled. The background ended up being the focus for me, especially the way the water and greenery work together to set the mood.
This drawing isn’t meant to be deep or heavy. It’s about escape, daydreaming, and that feeling of wanting to be somewhere sunny when real life feels a bit too busy. Sometimes a piece just exists to feel good and that’s what this one does for me.
