Multitudes is a self-portrait built around the idea that I’m made up of more than one version of myself at any given time. The three figures are all me, painted using the same base colours, with small shifts added to each to show different parts of my identity.
On the left, I worked in touches of yellow, referencing my Gemini sun. For me, yellow represents energy, curiosity, and movement — the part of me that’s always thinking, changing, and reaching outward.
On the right, I introduced red tones for my Scorpio rising. That side carries intensity, drive, and instinct. It’s bolder and more confrontational, reflecting how I move through the world.
The centre figure pulls in orange, tied to my Capricorn moon. It sits between the other two, holding balance, structure, and restraint — the part of me that keeps everything grounded.
The green background represents growth, both individually and as a whole. I kept the colours mostly flat and layered in iridescent details so the surface shifts depending on light and angle. Some tones only show up if you really look, which felt fitting for a piece about complexity and inner layers.
