STATEMENT: This piece was made with journal entries from 2020 and various poems I found during that time. The steadfast nature of home is depicted in this work in spite of the unsteady waters it rests on. The two figures represent the duality of self during isolation, how home was both a haven and a tomb during the pandemic.
