STATEMENT: Our historic homes and buildings are being allowed to deteriorate and be demolished at an alarming rate, particularly in ‘forgotten’ areas of town. From the humble to the grand and historically recorded, each home deserves to be saved, if it can be. I use found fibers and hand-dyed fabrics to celebrate the handmade. Abstracted maps and houses in a wide variety are framed individually to signify the importance of all.
