This was done from a scene at the Bryce Mental Hospital (Alabama Insane Hospital) in Northport, Alabama where Miriam attended a Sunday School class her senior year in college at the University of Alabama. Every time Miriam came to visit, this woman was always reading her bible which gave her a wonderful opportunity to capture the woman's devotion in a painting.
