I took so many bad photos trying to get the train in the scene only to get this one that made the cut by a margiin while the train rode the track cut by a margin. This is the Durango to Silverton steam train in southwestern Colorado. The sway and tick of the train on track isn't so soothing if you are trying to reach your camera lens out and around side of car and under another lens. Sitting all day I grew physically weary and only later realized my fibromyalgia had something to do with it. On the other hand I became so stressed by running out of SD card and then the photography shop in Silverton being closed according to one because the owner was out of town in Kansas another shop owner told me. Continuing my journey in the San Juan Mountains I discovered just how difficult it is to find an SD card.
