What is it? Is it the tractor or the direction of the mountain range in conjunction with the tractor seeming to run off the page to the right. Usually for something that moves you want space in front of the image to show that movement, but this tractor is going nowhere so stop . . .
Reengage. Could it be a day in which my independence felt so thwarted that my anger unjustifiably blazed (unless you are a red head like I am and then it is always justifiable ;) ). I don't want what every other photographer is photographing, so I am disinterested no matter the scene.
This image though surprised me recently when I found it and really opened it up. I love the variety of colors reminiscent of Jacob's Coat which was taken of a scene just to the right of me here. Textures, colors, direction, and misdirection (as the trees bear out).
