It was the end of the day, sun setting behind a curtain of purple and pink. I had walked 14,000 sand steps. I say sand steps because there is a big difference in walking 14,000 sand steps against steps. This for a person whose health has given me a goal of 2,000 steps a day and I don't always meet even that. I was literally delirious with fatigue of that and driving several hours with several yet to go. What I thought were focused photos were blurry in the end. However, I wasn't so delirious as to be lost on the thought that as usual I didn't want the photo everyone else always got, so I photographed blurry images of the bottom and sides and sky of the canyon.
When I got home I thought the photos a total loss. However, this image is proof that two or more wrongs can make a right because by stacking images and creating a panoramic effect with what I did have, I got a sharper better image than I had hoped, especially as I was aiming my camera much of the time sitting on the ground through a chain link fence.
