It was a Winter Solstice dawn on days about to drop to toe numbing temperatures. For once I wasn't lying in the dirt at some strange angle propping my camera on a tripod lying on its side with a water bottle for a prop. I sat on a comparably comfortable wood bench, tripod almost at eye level. It felt quite odd to have such an ideal position for me and the view alike.
The editing though made up for it in giving me fits about getting everything to contrast and show individually in black and white.
