This original painting is a result of researching into family ancestry. Three generations of fashionable women showing the transition of time from the 1800's, the 1940's, and modern times 2000's. I have used my signature style of Plastic Space abstraction to complete the image. An art critique has called this process, Plasticism for the flow of light and dark around objects to create depth and movement.

Three generations of African American women of the same family from slavery to the roaring 20's to modern times of today are reflected in this Plastic Space abstract image. Through all of the years, there is a common cultural heritage that swirls around the figures.
